The Sydney Opera House is an opera house in Sydney, Australia.

It was designed by the Danish architect Jorn Utzon; he began work on Sydney Opera House in 1957, but it was not completed until 1973, under the direction of Peter Hall, because the government was not paying his invoices. 

Today the Sydney Opera House is a famous tourist attraction, and many concerts and events take place here.
